The symposium and workshop proposal portal for the 6th Biennial Conference on Pediatric Brain Injury is now closed. 

 

The deadline for submissions was Saturday, August 17, 2025, at 11:59pm ET.

The IPBIS 2026 Conference is in the process of reviewing all of the symposia and workshop submissions from clinicians, researchers, and rehabilitation professional working to advance knowledge, care, and outcomes for children and adolescents with brain injury.

We invited dynamic, interdisciplinary proposals that:

  • Showcase translational and clinical research in paediatric acquired brain injury (both traumatic and non-traumatic)
  • Address innovations in assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation, or long-term care
  • Highlight interdisciplinary or cross-sector collaboration
  • Integrate lived experience with scientific insight

Key Details:

  • Symposia (60 minutes): Thematic sessions with multiple presenters and a coordinated focus. (Four presenters maximum)
  • Pre-Conference Workshops (Half- or full-day): In-depth, interactive sessions designed to build skills and knowledge. (Six presenters maximum)
